Bolivian singer-songwriter Luis Vega is set to arrive in Chile soon for his first-ever international tour. The artist arrives during a period of high visibility following the recent release of 'Actriz,' his new collaboration with Chilean star Américo.

The song has quickly gone viral across digital platforms, amassing over 23,000 streams just hours after its release. The track is part of an upcoming collaborative album that both artists are currently developing.

A project rooted in reality

Vega employs a songwriting method he calls 'Puro Papel y Lápiz' (Pure Paper and Pencil), which focuses on narrating real-life stories from his own environment and those of his audience. Through his lyrics, the artist aims to deliver a sense of brutal honesty.

“Américo and I are building an album based on people's real stories. 'Actriz' is just the beginning,” the Bolivian musician stated in an official press release.

Vega's repertoire, centered on the Regional Mexican genre, boasts over 100 million views on YouTube with hits such as 'Bailando conmigo' and 'Insuperable.' His Chilean tour will include performances in both the northern regions and the capital.

The tour includes a stop in Calama on April 30, followed by Antofagasta on May 1. The itinerary continues in Santiago on May 2, before concluding in Iquique on May 3.

During his stay in the country, the singer will also participate in a series of media appearances to discuss his career and the details of his expansion into the Chilean market.
