Chilean singer Kidd Voodoo has confirmed a collaboration with Spanish musician Pablo Alborán for his upcoming single, "Dando vueltas." The track is slated to premiere within the coming weeks.
The announcement was shared by the artist himself across his digital platforms. "This is my last single before the album," he told his followers.
The song promises a fusion of urban music and romantic ballads, blending the danceable energy of the urban genre with Alborán's signature melodic sensibility.
Transitioning to a new album
This release will serve as the final teaser before the debut of his new studio album, following the impact of his previous work,Satirología, Vol. 3.
On that album, the artist achieved milestones such as the track "Debo aterrizar," which featured the Chilean band Los Bunkers. The new single continues the sonic experimentation that has defined his recent career.
Voodoo's musical direction has shown a consistent openness to more melodic genres. Before establishing himself in the urban scene, the musician was a member of the group Resonancia Etérea.
During that era, the artist cultivated a guitar-driven pop style with melancholic undertones. The collaboration with Alborán represents a continuation of his ongoing effort to integrate elements of classic pop into his current repertoire.
