Logistics firm Blue Express took home top honors at the 18th annual eCommerce Awards, held as part of eCommerce Day. The company led the Logistics and Last-Mile category, while CEO Olivier Paccquette was distinguished as e-Leader of the Year.
Organized by the eCommerce Institute and the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CCS), the event recognizes the most impactful initiatives driving e-commerce growth in Chile. The awards highlight the company's ongoing expansion of its smart locker network.
Expanding the locker network
The company's out-of-home delivery strategy has helped it achieve a customer satisfaction rate of over 90%. Blue Express aims to have 1,000 lockers installed nationwide by the end of the year.
These smart lockers will soon support overnight deliveries, returns, and even document printing directly from the station. This infrastructure integrates with the "Puntos Blue Express" network, which already spans more than 3,000 locations from Arica to Magallanes.
“We are very proud to receive these two awards, as they reflect the work we drive every day: connecting people with e-commerce and simplifying their lives,” said Olivier Paccot, the company's CEO.
During the event, Paccot joined Guillermo Madariaga, E-commerce Manager at Tienda Copec, to present how implementing out-of-home deliveries helped double their sales and revenue in less than a year. The presentation detailed usage trends and recommendations for optimizing the pickup experience at logistics points.
