Police have arrested a 19-year-old woman and are actively searching for a second suspect following a violent shooting at a home in Los Ángeles. The incident occurred in the southern sector, specifically in Villa Filadelfia, causing significant structural damage to the property.

The police response was triggered by an emergency call reporting multiple shots fired in the street. Upon arriving at the scene, officers confirmed that a private residence had been targeted by a burst of gunfire.

According to preliminary police reports, a man and a woman fired a handgun at the house. Following the attack, both suspects fled in an unknown direction, prompting a search operation in the area.

Search and arrest operation

Following the attack, police deployed preventive patrols throughout the southern sector. During the operation, officers intercepted a vehicle carrying a woman identified as one of the alleged participants in the incident.

The 19-year-old detainee was subjected to an investigative identity check. Although she was not carrying a weapon at the time of her arrest, investigators have directly linked her to the attack on the home.

At the scene, officers seized nine spent shell casings from outside the property. However, police noted that it was not possible to determine the exact number of recent bullet impacts on the structure.

This technical difficulty arose because the house already had damage from previous shooting incidents. Forensic experts worked at the scene to attempt to differentiate the new impacts from the old ones.

Despite the severity of the attack and the number of shots fired, authorities confirmed that no one was injured. The incident resulted only in property damage to the Villa Filadelfia residence.

The Public Ministry has been notified and has ordered several investigative steps to clarify the circumstances of the event. Prosecutors are now working to locate the second suspect, who remains at large.
