The Ministry of Housing and Urbanism (Minvu) launched the appeals period this Monday for applicants of the 2025 Second National Call for the DS1 subsidy who were unsuccessful. The process allows citizens to contest the results if they believe administrative errors occurred during the evaluation process that were beyond their control.

Aimed at middle-income families, this program provides financial assistance for purchasing or building homes for those who do not currently own property and can demonstrate savings capacity. The deadline to submit these claims extends until April 22, 2026.

How to apply online

To file an appeal, interested parties must use the Contact Form available on the Ministry of Housing's official website. The process requires entering the applicant's or family group's RUT (national ID number) and selecting the “perform a procedure” option under the “appeal of results” category.

The system allows for a description of up to 3,000 characters to detail the grounds for the claim. According to the agency's instructions, users must provide all necessary documentation to prove that the evaluation contained errors not caused by the applicant.

Minvu emphasized the importance of providing clear information. “Ensure that your application contains all relevant information to allow for a resolution to your request,” the institution stated in its instructions, also urging users to ensure that all attachments are properly identified and legible.
