The company Globalmix has filed an administrative appeal against the MOP's Directorate of Roads in the Bío Bío Region. The legal action seeks to overturn the state entity's decision to declare a tender void after it had already been awarded to the firm.
The conflict arose after the agency, which operates under the Ministry of Public Works, invalidated the procurement process. According to reports from biobiochile.cl, the company is seeking to uphold the original award previously granted by the same institution.
Administrative challenge
The appeal calls for the administrative authority to review the technical and legal grounds that led to the tender being declared void. The company maintains that a winner had already been designated prior to the Directorate of Roads' new resolution.
