Foreign Minister Francisco Pérez Mackenna filed his official financial disclosure statement this Friday, revealing an estimated total net worth of $85 million.

The figure follows his recent appointment to the post, a transition that required him to step down as a top executive at the Luksic Group and resign from 24 corporate boards.

"There are different ways to measure it. There are book values—in my case, I hold various companies; there are market values, and there are historical values," the Foreign Minister told the news outlet DF regarding the valuation of his assets.

The bulk of his fortune is concentrated in international financial instruments. The document details $57.1 million held in shares of foreign investment funds.

Notable investments include $20.9 million at JP Morgan in the United States and $20.7 million at the bank's Swiss branch. Additionally, he reported $14.8 million held with the Swiss entity Julius Baer.

Real Estate and Luxury Assets

Regarding real estate, Pérez Mackenna declared properties in Chile, including homes in Los Barrenchea and Zapallar, as well as farmland in Puerto Octay, with a tax valuation of $5.6 million.

His wealth also includes assets in Uruguay, with properties in Punta del Este and José Ignacio valued at $2.19 million. The minister also maintains offshore companies, such as Adare Capital in Uruguay and Adare Corp in the United States.

The disclosure details a notable vehicle collection with a tax valuation of 648 million pesos. The lineup includes high-end models such as an Aston Martin Vanquish, a Bentley Continental GTC, a McLaren 720S Spider, and a Porsche 911 Turbo S.

Additionally, the Foreign Minister reported ownership of two sailboats, named María Teresa and Jopema, along with five other vessels, totaling $180,000 in maritime equipment.

Finally, the document lists memberships in several golf clubs in the La Dehesa and Chicureo areas, which were acquired through the purchase of shares in those corporations.
