Power utility Enel has confirmed a series of scheduled power outages for this Monday, April 13, affecting five municipalities in the Metropolitan Region. These outages are necessary to perform maintenance and upgrades to the electrical grid.
According to the company's official website, the interruptions will be concentrated in specific areas of the capital. Maintenance activities are scheduled to take place throughout the morning and into the afternoon.
Details of Affected Areas
Las Condes will see the highest number of planned outages. In this area, the interruptions will occur in three separate blocks, with schedules running from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, Vitacura will experience a brief outage between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. In the southern part of the city, La Florida will undergo a power cut lasting from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In the western sector, Pudahuel will see an interruption from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Finally, Estación Central will have two affected areas, with outages starting at 9:15 a.m. and concluding between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
