The Ministry of Housing and Urbanism (Minvu) opened the appeals period this Monday for applicants of the DS1 housing subsidy in Chile. The window allows individuals who were not selected in the second call of 2025 to request a formal review of their application data.
The Ministry stated that the appeal process is specifically intended for those who identify errors in their registration that are not attributable to the applicant's own responsibility.
The deadline for this procedure is 10 consecutive days, beginning from April 13, 2026.
How to request a review
Applicants must submit their requests through a contact form available on the official Minvu website, minvu.gob.cl.
To check the status of their application or the details of the subsidy delivery, users can visit the minvu.cl website. The Ministry requires the use of the Clave Única digital identity system to access this personal information.
The current results pertain to the second call of 2025, which received applications throughout November of last year. Minvu published the official list of successful beneficiaries on March 31.
The DS1 program, also known as the "Sectores Medios" subsidy, serves families who do not currently own real estate. The program provides the necessary financial support for these families to acquire either new or used houses or apartments.
