Colo Colo remains at the top of the Primera División standings following the conclusion of matchday nine. Jorge Almirón's side currently holds 18 points, though they are still waiting to play their fixture for this round.

The clash between 'El Cacique' and Coquimbo Unido has been rescheduled for May 3rd. The postponement allows the 'Piratas' to focus on their upcoming Copa Libertadores clash against Universitario de Lima.

UC and Ñublense close in on the top spot

Universidad Católica capitalized on the round to narrow the gap with a 4-3 victory over Audax Italiano. The win brings the 'Cruzados' to 17 points, leaving them just one point behind the leaders.

Meanwhile, Ñublense also climbed the standings after a 1-0 win over Universidad de Chile. A late victory lifted the Chillán-based side to 16 points, firmly placing them in the title race.

At the top of the table, Deportes Limache missed their chance to seize the lead. They fell 1-0 to Palestino, following a decisive goal from Nelson Da Silva.

The round also saw key victories for Huachipato, who beat O’Higgins in Rancagua, and Universidad de Concepción, who overcame Cobresal. Over at La Portada, Deportes La Serena defeated an Everton side that is now on a four-match winless streak.

Matchday nine will conclude this Monday, April 13th, with Unión La Calera facing Deportes Concepción at 8:00 PM at the Estadio Nicolás Chahuán Nazar.
