The Chilean short film "Ladrón de flores" (Flower Thief) has earned international recognition, taking home an Honorable Mention at the latest edition of "Mi Primer Festival" in Lima, Peru. The film, directed by Chilean filmmaker Jorge del Campo Andrade, stood out among more than 2,000 entries from across the globe.
Festival organizers reported that after a rigorous selection process, only 77 films made it into the official selection. The Chilean entry managed to shine in this highly competitive field, further cementing the country's presence in the circuit dedicated to children's and youth cinema.
