American author Siri Hustvedt will take part in a virtual event in Chile this Thursday, April 23. Scheduled for 7:00 PM, the session is part of the International Book Day celebrations.

The event is organized bySantiago en 100 Palabras, an initiative supported by Escondida | BHP and the Plagio Foundation. This special edition commemorates the 25th anniversary of the country's iconic short story competition.

During the session, Hustvedt will be in conversation with Chilean writer María Paz Rodríguez. The meeting aims to delve into the creative process and narrative techniques, fostering a direct connection between international literature and local audiences.
