The Mexican Association of Online Sales (AMVO) has confirmed that Hot Sale 2026 will take place from May 25 to June 2. According to a report by expansion.mx, the nine-day campaign will feature thousands of deals across digital platforms nationwide.

The event aims to attract shoppers through deep discounts, banking promotions, and flexible payment options. Hundreds of online retailers will compete for consumer attention during this pivotal season for e-commerce.

The sale will cover a wide range of categories, from electronics and technology to travel, fashion, and groceries. Major players such as Amazon, Mercado Libre, Walmart, and Liverpool are set to participate in the sales event.

Growth in Digital Commerce

The economic impact of the event is evident following the results of the previous edition. In 2025, Hot Sale generated 42.725 billion pesos in sales, representing a 23.7% increase compared to the previous year, according to AMVO data.

During the last period, there were 19.2 million orders placed and approximately 39 million products sold, with an average transaction value of 1,100 pesos.

Consumer behavior also showed a shift toward mobile shopping. According to the report, 74% of traffic on participating sites came from smartphones.

Financial institutions such as BBVA, Citibanamex, and Santander will offer additional incentives. These include interest-free installments and cashback offers when using credit cards or payment platforms like PayPal and Mercado Pago.

To avoid unnecessary spending, experts suggest comparing prices before the sales begin. They also recommend setting a budget in advance and verifying each retailer's return policy.
