Following its 125th anniversary, Gulf Oil International has announced a strategic expansion in Chile, with plans to increase its national market presence tenfold over the next five years.

The growth strategy involves opening new service stations and bringing on new commercial partners across the country. Additionally, the company will introduce its entire lubricant portfolio to meet the demands of various industrial sectors.

The strategy aims to strengthen the brand's infrastructure in Chile, focusing on the reliability of its products for high-performance environments. The company seeks to serve a wide range of needs, from passenger transport to heavy machinery.

Loyalty programs and partnerships

To celebrate its legacy and ensure customer loyalty, the company will implement various commercial initiatives. These programs are aimed at mechanics and workshops, as well as fleet operators and private vehicle drivers.

“As part of our anniversary year, our markets will implement programs encompassing commercial alliances, initiatives for mechanics and workshops, retail and fuel promotions, and global sponsorship activations,” explained Gaston Mienko, Vice President for South America at Gulf Oil International.

Mienko noted that these actions are designed to reinforce the role of trust in performance-driven environments and to celebrate the people behind the company's success.

The company's history dates back to the discovery of oil in January 1901. With over a century of experience, the firm is using this milestone to reaffirm its commitment to the partners who drive communities and industries forward.
