The British Ariel Motor Company has unveiled the Atom 4RR, the most powerful evolution of its iconic lightweight sports car to date. The new model marks the 25th anniversary of the Atom lineup.

Built around a heavily modified 2.0-liter Honda turbo engine, the 4RR produces 525 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. This output significantly exceeds the performance metrics of its predecessor, the Atom 4R.

Track-focused engineering

The vehicle weighs approximately 700 kilograms, allowing for an estimated 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in under 2.5 seconds. Its minimalist design lacks a conventional body, prioritizing weight reduction and aerodynamic precision.

Ariel engineers based the 4RR on the existing Atom 4R platform but implemented critical upgrades to the engine's internal components. These modifications include improved lubrication and fuel delivery systems specifically tuned for intensive circuit use.

Production will be strictly limited to 25 units, all of which are available via custom order. The manufacturer has set the price at approximately 250 million Chilean pesos.

While designed for maximum performance on the track, the Atom 4RR remains street-legal. The car utilizes technologies derived directly from professional motorsport to maintain a direct connection between the driver and the road.
